The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team and help us continue to deliver the best in care within our aged care facility. You’ll have the chance to develop and implement tailored rehabilitation programs, improve mobility and quality of life, and collaborate with the teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, and deliver physiotherapy services to residents, tailored to their individual needs and conditions.
• Develop and implement effective treatment programs that focus on improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Provide rehabilitation and restorative care to enhance the independence and quality of life for residents.
• Conduct regular reviews of residents’ progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and progress notes in accordance with regulatory requirements and aged care standards.
• Monitor and manage the use of assistive devices and mobility aids to ensure safety and efficiency for residents.
• Work closely with residents and their families to provide education on exercises, posture, and body mechanics for optimal health.
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy with current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
• Proven experience as a Physiotherapist in an aged care or healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding and experience with aged care systems and standards
• Excellent assessment and clinical skills, with the ability to develop individualised treatment plans.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams, residents, and families.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care with a passion for improving the lives of elderly individuals.
