About The Role

We're looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to take our social media and brand presence to the next level. Your mission will be to engage tweens, teens, parents, and seniors through compelling content that embodies Spacetalk's values of safety, connection, and innovation across all stages of life.

What You'll Do:

  • Audit existing social channels and content, ensuring alignment with our refreshed brand direction
  • Create high-quality, relevant, and engaging content that cuts through to our target audiences
  • Develop a strategic approach to content, combining virality, trust-building, and values-driven storytelling
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service team to manage comments, reviews, and feedback effectively, ensuring a gold-standard online experience for customers
  • Act as the brand's advocate on social platforms, fostering genuine connections with our community
  • Focus on quality over quantity—each post should bring value and align with our overarching brand strategy


📍 Location: Sydney

⏰ Duration: Contractor role with a minimum term of 6 weeks and potential for a permanent position.

Requirements

  • A deep understanding of social media, including the latest trends and platform best practices
  • Experience engaging audiences on Instagram, Meta, YouTube, and more
  • Ability to craft content that resonates with older markets, including tweens, teens, parents, and seniors
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to working with customer service teams to manage escalations and leverage insights from reviews and comments
  • Strong design sensibilities and the ability to create shareable content with emotional resonance.
