The Role
As a data analyst for the Air Force Edgy bottom-up innovation program, you will play a pivotal role in harnessing data to drive strategic decisions and the implementation of innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Collect, clean and analyse program data to generate insights and support decision-making processes
- Develop and maintain data systems, dashboards, and reports to monitor key performance indicators and outcomes across the Edgy Program multiple lines of operation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and advise on data collection and reporting requirements/strategies
- Identify trends and patterns in data that will drive improvements in Edgy program delivery and/or outcomes
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices in data management, analysis and reporting
- Integrate Edgy program data into Defence reporting systems (ie PMKeys, ERP etc)
The Directorate of Preparedness Innovation - Air Force (DPI-AF) is a small executive team responsible for delivering the Edgy Air Force Innovation program designed to empower personnel at all levels to contribute ideas that can lead to the development and implementation of capability that enable the competitive edge.
The Edgy program is delivered by a dispersed and diverse team (comprised of Serving Members (full-time and part-time) along with APS staff and contractors) across the major Air Force bases in Australia.
The DPI-AF leadership team coordinates all aspects of the Edgy program including monitoring and reporting on program performance and outcomes.
