The Role
The Maintenance Integrity Supervisor (MIS) monitors and evaluates Technical Regulatory Framework (TRF) governance within the Mechanical Engineering Operations and Maintenance Section (MEOMS) and the broader unit of 23SQN. They are responsible for ensuring certification of the Unit as an Accredited Engineering Organisation is maintained and does not lapse. This accreditation is guided by the Combat Support Group Engineering Management System Directive (CSG EMSD). This directive helps CSG operate, manage and maintain a range of technical and non-technical equipment - Land Materiel (LM) - and has a responsibility to ensure LM is safe for use and fit-for-purpose. 23 Squadron is a unit within CSG. Within MEOMS, the MIS is also responsible for monitoring Orders, Instructions and Publications (OIP) to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant. This will include Standing Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and Bench Level Instructions. The MIS will conduct internal auditing and participate in external auditing of the unit, when required.
