General Manager-South PacificWe are seeking an experienced General Manager to take the reins of this unique Hospitality & Tourism based operation located in the South Pacific.
This multi-faceted company includes a tourist resort with guest accommodation and multiple food and beverage outlets, apartments, a tour operation conducting several tours per day and 100+ car rental company.
The role would be ideally suited to an experienced General Manager with strong business acumen who has managed large scale hospitality organisations. This is a customer-focused role and ideal for a hands-on general manager who has a passion for hospitality and creating unique guest experiences. You will be a strong leader whom your staff aspire to work alongside.

Package:
Commence: Early May 2025
2 Year Contract
- $140,000 per annum
- Free Apartment Accommodation
- Company Car including fuel allowance
- Monthly Meal Allowance in Dining Venues
- Return Airfare to and from the location
- Full-time Long Term Position
- Oversee operations across 4 businesses: accommodation, food & beverage, tour operations, and car rentals
- Be hands-on in every aspect of the business, collaborating with department heads to drive success
- Lead, mentor, and support your team of 65-70 staff through training, rostering, and guidance
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences—always exceeding expectations
- Play an active role in business planning, development, and liaising with the local community
- Manage tour operations (4 buses running daily tours) and a car rental fleet
- Maintain a positive and community-oriented atmosphere
We want someone with strong leadership, vision, and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Previous management experience in large hospitality organisations
- A customer-focused mindset with a service-oriented approach
- Leadership skills that inspire and motivate teams to excel
- A community-minded approach to both guests and staff
- Comprehensive knowledge of hospitality and tourism operations
- Police clearance and valid driver's license
- Accessible via daily flights from Brisbane & Sydney
