We are looking for someone that will be actively involved in delivering the strategic direction of both the catering and restaurant departments whilst leading and guiding our passionate kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or Jnr Sous Chef in a similar environment who is strong operationally and fully qualified.
- Flexible work ethic with a passion to create unique and memorable dining experiences.
- Flare, enthusiasm, and passion to create excellent cuisine.
- A strong desire to achieve business goals & targets
- Ensure optimum Operational Excellence within all kitchens.
- Ensure the Club’s policies and procedures are met and followed by our Kitchen Team
- Understanding of the administration requirements of the position – rosters, cost control and menus
- Be Humble, Hungry and Smart
- An eye for detail and be service orientated.
- Know the importance of not only a spotless kitchen but ensure it is always maintained to the highest standard.
- Meet food safety hygiene practices and compliance expectations.
- Proven leadership qualities and the ability to coach and train.
- Be able to help lead and motivate the team so they feel valued and heard.
- Ability to build relationships and rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication an interpersonal skills and a passion for quality customer service
