About The Position
KGF - Coominya currently has a permanent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering Department.
The successful candidate will have the ability to facilitate maintenance project works, to ensure production requirements and improvements to the facility are met. This position will see you drive the improvement of plant reliability and continuously move from reactive to proactive maintenance, utilising sound maintenance and OH&S principles.
Work environments will vary from agricultural, food production, refrigeration, coal fired boiler and rendering.
Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following;
- Demonstrated ability to understand breakdown and preventative maintenace tasks professionally and effectively.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Ability to input information relating to maintenance tasks into the maintenance management system.
- Contributions of ideas and input to improve maintenance systems and procedures
- Engage various site teams to optimise the performance of all equipment daily
- Assist in capital and continuous improvement projects as directed.
- Ability to commit to repsnsible safety, quality and environmental management.
- Organise, plan and coordinate shut downs.
- Responsible for planning all maintenance activities on plant.
- Manage capital works planning and maintenance.
- Responsible for all aspects of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (MEX).
- Proven preventative planning experience.
- Extensive knowledge of work planning and scheduling procedures.
- Ensure all required and scheduled tasks are investigated, planned, executed and completed on time and to budget.
- All aspects of Contractor Management - Inductions, Work Permits, quality control of Contractor works.
Essential Requirements;
- Extensive and knowledgeable experience with MEX software program.(or willingness to learn)
- Demonstrate extensive planning, experience and knowledge in a similar production environment.
- Knowledge in packaging conveyor systems is preferred.
- Experience in a FMCG or food processing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Computer Literate in MS Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Excel, Access).
- The position will be fulltime, typically Monday to Friday and the hours can be negotiable for the right applicant.
