Role Purpose :
The role of the Maintenance Technical Support is to support the maintenance team members and the operations teams as required. This includes assisting with the setup and maintenance of equipment, performing general repair tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup of all MQF equipment when required
- Work with our maintenance team on the reliability of plant equipment
- Perform maintenance tasks and assist maintenance as needed
- Maintain machines and Mondini tools
- Ensure all planned maintenance tasks are completed on time
- Complete assigned work orders and keep preventive maintenance tasks relevant
- Assist with the availability of spares for MQF equipment
- Perform handyman duties, including wall repairs, painting and general repairs of factory and equipment
- Basic welding skills or willingness to learn
- Manage workshops, keeping them organised and clean
About You:
- Double-checks work, ensures compliance with standards and takes responsibility to rectify errors
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks
- Good communication skills
- Completes tasks without constant supervision, exceeds job requirements and acts on opportunities without prompting
- Plans and prioritizes work, establishes short-term plans and meets deadlines
- Displays drive to meet objectives, maintains focus on tasks and perseveres with routine tasks without sacrificing quality
- Decision making: Makes decisions in well-defined situations and weighs up alternatives
