Company DescriptionSalamanca Fresh started in the 1980's as 1 fruit and vegetable retail market. There are now 6 stores in Hobart, Tasmania selling gourmet groceries and delicatessen lines as well as specialising in fresh produce. We have our own logistics company that loads up at the farm gate and delivers fresh to our stores.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Hobart TAS for a Retail Store Manager. The Retail Store Manager will oversee the daily operations of the store, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, controlling costs and wastage and maintaining inventory. Responsibilities include implementing store policies, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and ensuring the store meets sales goals. The role requires constant monitoring of sales activities to achieve established objectives, training and mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with retail loss prevention measures.
QualificationsStrong skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer ServiceExcellent Communication skillsExperience in Store ManagementKnowledge in Retail Loss PreventionLeadership and team management skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysPrevious experience in retail management is preferredBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is advantageous
