About the Role:
We are seeking disability support workers to provide assistance:
Location: Eastern suburbs, VictoriaExperience with complex behaviours or high physical support needsProviding 1:1 supports accessing the community and/or assistance in the home
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Implement support plans based on supported person's needs, preferences, and interestsHelp with all aspects of daily living from getting up in the morning to going to bed at nightAid people to get to their chosen activities like social events, work, and appointmentsPromote personal choice and control for the personAssist with personal care, hygiene and household duties such as cleaning, cooking, and washingAdminister medication
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience with complex behaviours or high physical support needsBackground in mental health or nursing preferred but not mandatory A passion for enabling and working with peopleDesire for meaningful work and comfortable providing people with daily living supportWillingness to work as part of a team

NDIS Worker screening CheckWorking with Children CheckUnrestricted Australian Driver's LicenseEvidence of COVID-19 vaccination status, including boosterCurrent First Aid Certificate with CPR
