Who are we looking for?
Are you passionate about creating nourishing and delicious meals for children? Do you have a flair for culinary creativity and a heart full of warmth for little ones? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Join our team as an Early Learning Centre Cook and play a crucial role in shaping young minds and taste buds.
As a Cook at our Prospect based Early Learning Centre, you will enjoy a diverse role tending to the nutritional requirements and well-being of children ranging from babies to school age.
What do you need to bring?
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven ability to work positively and productively to prepare and deliver quality, nutritious, flavoursome meals that meet legislative, regulatory and dietary requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of food hygiene practices.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact with children in a friendly manner.
- Proven ability to liaise with suppliers and order supplies for the kitchen within budget.
- Previous experience in an Early Learning setting is desirable.
