The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Civil Engineer to assist our growing South Australian Adelaide team. This role provides an opportunity to work on a range civil infrastructure
project and contribute to the growth of the Adelaide team within Tonkin.
Who You Are:
- A passionate and proactive team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- A technical problem-solver with demonstrated 1-4 years of experience in a range of Australian civil infrastructure projects.
- Enthusiastic about working in multi-disciplinary teams in a national team format.
Where You Are:
The role is located in Adelaide however the candidate will work on projects throughout Australia, predominately South Australia and Victoria.
What You Bring:
- Relevant qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering discipline
- Demonstrated technical background in Civil Engineering related disciplines including understanding of Australian Standards and Industry Design Guides.
- Efficient multi-tasker with a fundamental understanding of project delivery processes and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do:
- Apply your technical expertise to the design of a range of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations
- Provide inputs to other engineers and drafters in producing high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other disciplines to ensure project coordination.
- Deliver well-documented designs, including drawings, specifications, and reports, meeting Tonkin’s and client standards
