Amazon Delivery Services Australia is looking for a dynamic and motivated EDSP Senior Program Manager with strong analytical skills and proven project management experience to join a growing team. This role will own the end-to-end carrier recruitment, onboarding, and growth of EDSP carriers and support the strategic planning for geographical expansion. EDSPs are External Delivery Service Providers that use Amazon tools and technology to deliver Amazon packages through different regions of the country.Key job responsibilities
• Perform carrier scouting, run informational sessions with candidates, and organise carrier due diligence checks prior to candidate selection (i.e., Third-Party Security Assessments, Background Checks, Financial assessments, etc.).
• Perform detailed pricing analysis and support negotiations with candidates to find the most suitable commercial bid, and organise commercial approval by the Finance team.
• Perform detailed analysis to identify opportunities to grow the EDSP geographical coverage with new or existing carriers to support the short- and long-term planning of the program.
• Plan and execute carrier growth initiatives to expand carrier geographical coverage, implement new service types, or implement synergies with other AMZL delivery channels.
• Perform carrier onboarding through Amazon systems and support with contract development, review, and signing.
• Accelerate progress by driving timely decisions, clear blockers by developing effective paths to green, and escalate risks and issues as appropriate.
• Support the launch of new EDSP methodologies by project managing streams of work that have direct impact on the success of the overall launch.
• Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers and carriers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in either Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business or 4+ years Amazon experience.- 3+ years’ experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis translating data into actionable insights.
- 5+ years of project/program management experience managing large scale projects and performing cost/benefit analysis to prove the viability of projects.
- Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions.
- Ability to perform cross-team coordination and to organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel is required, including use of modelling, complex lookups, and pivot tables.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL.- MBA and work experience in a technical field is highly desired.
