Are you an experienced Marine Surveyor & LNG Loadmaster with a passion for the maritime industry? As a Marine Surveyor & LNG Loadmaster you will be responsible for conducting a range of surveys and inspections related to cargo, marine, petroleum, chemical, and grain on sea-going and bulk cargo vessels.
Key responsibilities
- Performing Cargo, Marine, Petroleum, Chemical, and Grain surveys and inspections.
- Preparing detailed reports and invoices.
- Liaising with clients, shipping agents, and vessel staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Contributing to general office functions, ensuring accurate reporting and timely analysis of results.
- Providing support for terminal and wharf duties as needed.
Selection criteria
- Professionalism and Respect : You will maintain a high standard of professionalism and show respect to all stakeholders at all times.
- Industry Experience : Proven experience in conducting inspections of oil, fuel, and LPG tankers, dry cargo, and marine vessels, along with LNG/LPG Load Master experience, is highly preferred. Marine background as a Deck Officer preferably on Bulk Carriers with Cargo Gear and further, sailing experience on log carriers would be an added advantage.
- Qualification : The role requires the successful candidate to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card
- Computer Skills : Strong proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as internet and email usage is essential.
- Communication Excellence : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Team Collaboration : A demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Self-Motivation & Organisational Skills : The ability to manage your time and tasks effectively, with a high level of organization and self-motivation.
- Independent Work : Ability to work independently and take initiative once appropriately trained.
- Confidentiality : Sensitivity to deal with confidential information.
