Job Description

We are seeking an energetic Housekeeping Turndown Attendant to join our dedicated Housekeeping Team at Pullman Sydney Olympic Park. This role involves working from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, seven days a week.

As a Turndown Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing guest rooms for the evening, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and beautifully presented. We are looking for individuals who go the extra mile to create a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests.

Successful applicants will be required to:

  • Perform turndown service in assigned guest rooms, ensuring they are perfectly presented to hotel standards.
  • Refresh and tidy rooms by replenishing amenities, adjusting linens, and creating a welcoming evening ambiance.
  • Report any maintenance issues, repair needs, or missing items as per procedure.
  • Ensure housekeeping trolleys and storage areas are clean, organised, and well-stocked.
  • Assist with deep cleaning duties as required.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling lost property items.
  • Use amenities, chemicals, and equipment safely and in compliance with WHS standards.
  • Support the housekeeping team with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous housekeeping experience (preferred)
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • The ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards
  • A polite and professional demeanour
  • A good understanding of guest preferences and expectations
