Corporate Accountant - Part time or Full time

Are you an experienced accountant looking for a flexible part or full-time role in a dynamic corporate environment? We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accountant to join our team for three, four or five days per week.

FSC is a team of multidisciplinary engineering professionals dedicated to excellence, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. We deliver expert project management and technical solutions for complex civil infrastructure projects across roads, rail, tunnelling, and utilities. Since our founding in 2015, we've grown into a tight-knit team of 90+, providing top-tier services to clients across Australia.

Requirements

About the Role:

Reporting to the CFO, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and monthly reporting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Checking financial transactions and reconciling accounts
• Month-end reporting and analysis
• Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
• Preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger integrity
• Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and compliance requirements
• Supporting payroll processes and leave reconciliations
• Assisting with invoicing and other financial administration duties
  
  
  

About You:

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel
• Proficiency in Xero will be highly regarded
• CPA (or working towards CPA) will be highly regarded
