Join Moody's as a Predictive Analytics Intern to analyze economic data and support research projects.
Your role
Responsibilities
- Analyzing data and contributing to research by the economics team.
- Supporting analysis of country and subnational economic performance.
- Collaborating with Economics staff on research and consulting projects.
- Gathering and interpreting macroeconomic data for clients.
- Contributing to analysis and commentaries on the Economic View website.
- Estimating forecast equations to support model improvements.
- Assisting in research for consulting projects and research articles.
- Adapting existing programs for new uses and expanded use cases.
About you
Qualifications
- Ability to commit 5 workdays per week for 10 weeks.
- Pursuing a degree in economics, preferably with an interest in macroeconomics or econometrics.
- Second- or third-year undergraduate preferred.
- Good writing skills.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Some experience in computer programming or software coding is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a flexible environment with colleagues across the Asia-Pacific region.
