About the role:
Join AutoPacific Group and take the lead in developing and optimising CNC programs for high-precision metal parts. Using software such as CADMAN and TruTops, you’ll ensure efficient production by selecting tools, setting machine parameters, and improving laser nesting standards.

Key responsibilities include:
- Program and optimise CNC machines for laser cutting, brake press forming, and tube bending operations.
- Improve laser nesting standards to maximise material efficiency and minimise collisions.
- Develop and maintain CNC machine programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement offline brake press programming to streamline production and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and support operators with technical challenges.
- Interpret CAD drawings and work instructions to create efficient machining programs.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and planning teams to improve processes and workflows.
About you:
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field (Cert IV or Diploma required).
- Demonstrated experience of CNC programming in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven background in laser cutting, ideally with LVD or Trumpf machines.
- Proficiency in CAM software such as CADMAN or TruTops.
- Experience with brake press machinery, tooling, and operating procedures.
- Well developed problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot CNC programming issues.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
