Leading Ecosystem Service Project Developer
Climate change is unquestionably one of the greatest challenges facing the world today.
Reducing the carbon footprint of our agricultural industry is an essential part of solving the problem. If you want to be part of that solution, then this is the role you've been looking for.
Here, you'll take on a lead role with one of APAC's foremost Greentech scaleups. You'll work directly on projects reducing the emissions of greenhouse gasses, protecting forestry, and sequestering carbon.
They're complex, highly-technical, highly regulated programs of work that span multiple decades. Your role will be to act as the bridge between the internal technical delivery team, and a range of external stakeholders spanning landowners, land managers, regulators and auditors.
You'll work closely new customer team in establishing new relationships, and exploring new initiatives. As projects develop, you'll monitor performance, update on project milestones, and manage regulatory relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage productive, long-term relationships with key stakeholders (landholders, regulators, auditors, etc.).
- Act as the liaison between the technical team and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with the customer team to establish new relationships, explore new initiatives, and grow project opportunities.
- Monitor project performance, track milestones, and ensure projects meet environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- Work with internal teams to continuously improve project performance and drive environmental outcomes.
Key Skills/Experience
To be successful, you'll need a strong background in client services/account management, developing strong customer relationships.
- Proven experience in client services/account management , with a strong track record of developing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Expertise or background in carbon farming , climate/environmental science , biodiversity , or renewable energy .
- Strong understanding of complex, long-term contracts , legal frameworks, and risk management within environmental projects.
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines and achieving high-quality outcomes.
You'll also need prior experience in one of the following areas
- Carbon farming
- Climate/Environmental Science
- Biodiversity
- Renewables
