About the role:
We have an exciting, ongoing opportunity to work at Box Hill Institute as our Academic Governance Support Coordinator .
What you'll do:
- Provide a range of specialist advice and coordination to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of academic quality assurance initiatives, governance and its associated activities
- Coordinate and monitor all academic quality assurance and external/internal audit programs and initiatives across Box Hill Institute and its entities
- Maintain and ensure effective systems are in place to support the academic and non-academic quality assurance portfolio and quality assurance systems
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with Box Hill Institute staff, students, partners and external bodies to achieve the desired support and learning outcomes
- Coordinate a range of activities to ensure compliance with audit, quality, legislative and policy/procedure requirements
- Ensure the effective use of resources , promoting online delivery, an always-improving customer experience and initiatives to ensure cost minimisation and lean operations
About you:

- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills
- Victorian WWCC clearance
- National Police Check clearance
Qualifications and experience:
- A relevant qualification in VET compliance auditing
- Diploma of Vocational Education and Training Practice; or
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Current and sound experience in the relevant field
- Substantial experience in coordinating training and assessment and teaching experience in a tertiary environment
- Extensive experience in the administration of internal quality systems
