Techno Auto repairs is hiring 2 qualified technicians to work at our busy establishment located in Truganina. Started in 2022 with a single hoist we have now 4 hoist to keep with the demand of customers. Our main work revolves around Road Worthy Certifications, repairs and servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and fix problems with engines, transmissions, steering, and other parts
- Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, lubrication, and tire rotations
- Repair or replace parts like brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors
- Test drive to ensure they work properly
- Inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates
- Tyres, wheel balancing and exhaust.
- Major and minor services
Skills and requirements
- Must have current full Australian driver licence
- Must have current LVT license
- Knowledge of how petrol/diesel and combustion engines work
- Knowledge of vehicle parts like brakes and transmission systems
- Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read technical manuals and charts
- Ability to follow checklists
- Physical fitness, including agility, strength, and stamina
- Good customer service skills
- Attention to detail
Working conditions and hours
- our workshop is well ventilated with high ceiling and commercial fans
- Working shifts are from mon - fri 8-4pm with optional Saturdays
- Exposure to noise and lubricants (all safety procedures to be followed at workplace)
- one mechanic to work on a dedicated hoist (occasional use of jacks and lifts)
- separate lunch room and dedicated smoke zone.
