Role Description:
Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking a Secondary English teacher to join the team at Mernda Hill Christian College. This Part-Time (0.8 FTE) Fixed Term teaching position is open to both experienced teachers and graduates, providing a fantastic opportunity to begin or grow your teaching career in a supportive environment. This role commences immediately and continues until the end of Term 4 (12 December 2025).
The focus of the Classroom Teacher is on the planning, preparation, and teaching of programs to achieve specific student outcomes. The Classroom Teacher will teach a range of students/classes and is accountable for the effective delivery of their programs. An integral aspect of the planning is to embed the characteristics and values of the Seventh-day Adventist school system in all aspects of learning and teaching. The Classroom Teacher utilizes critical reflection to improve knowledge and skills to better engage students and improve their learning.
