Primary Objective: The Workforce Planning Reporting Officer is responsible for reporting, analysing, and interpreting the department’s workforce data to inform workforce planning and forecasting and talent strategies, as well as provide data and insights for publication and submissions, including Estimates. The responsibilities of this role include monitoring and modelling workforce data, as well as understanding internal and external workforce trends, to facilitate forecasting future workforce demands, and inform future strategies to ensure the department has an education workforce that is well positioned to meet future business needs. This position may require direct interaction with senior executives and directors to help identify important workforce needs and provide actionable insights to inform workforce strategies.
