About the role

Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to be accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation, and assessment of nursing education programs, managing educational resources and providing nursing expertise related to educational issues within the Emergency Department and Redcliffe Hospital.

About you

  • Provide leadership within a legal, professional, and ethical framework that ensures contemporary consumer/person centred care and staff management practices.
  • Integrate the principles of contemporary education into nursing practice.
  • Integrate nursing and health care knowledge, skills, and ability by supporting an evidence-based learning environment and participating in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
  • Facilitate the delivery of cost-effective quality consumer/person focused care through the development, implementation and maintenance of education and professional development programs and activities for nursing staff.
