Account Manager - Liability Claims

Description:

Recognised and innovative leader in the management of claims is seeking a solicitor or legal qualified claims examiner to manage a personal portfolio of liability claims. This is an important role within the organisation and requires a claims professional with a depth of experience in PI & Med Mal OR Public and Products Liability policies.

Job Requirements:

• Manage a portfolio of Liability claims including effective liability assessment, assessment and justification of reserves and developing a strategy for claim resolution
  
• Ownership of Trust Accounts including payment of legal invoices and settlements
  
• Maintain stakeholder relationships including effective communication via written and verbal means, effective negotiation and providing regular reports and updates.
  
• Undertake all administrative and communicative duties associate with claims management
  
• Maintain compliance with Policy and Procedure though effective use of IT systems and services, and superior knowledge of insurance policy, application and coverage.
  
• Work toward company goals including supporting stakeholder development and supporting team members as required.
