Description:
We are a 520 cow dairy farming operation located near Corryong in north east Victoria.
We are currently seeking 1 highly motivated farm hand for short term (417 and 462 Visa) work or ongoing work if required.
Experience would be an advantage however a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a good work ethic will suffice.
Duties will include but are not limited to: Milking and mustering cows, calf rearing and animal handling, fencing and general farm maintenance.
Pay is award wages ($30 per hour) plus applicable overtime and penalty rates on an hourly basis and I estimate you will work 40+hours per week.
We currently work on a 5 day working week with a flexible work roster.
Subsidised accomodation in the Corryong township is available (15 minutes drive from farm).
A shared car can be provided for the period of your employment if required.
A manual drivers licence is required for the position.
Start date is 7/4/2025
Workers willing to stay for more than 4 months would be preferred. Additional work/accomodation for partners/friends can be sourced in the local area.
