The Fiddler Hotel, a vibrant and modern venue known for its exceptional food, drinks, and atmosphere, is looking for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. If you're passionate about cooking and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to be part of something special!
About the Role:
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in kitchen operations and food preparation.
  • Ensure consistency and high quality in all dishes served.
  • Lead and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Contribute to menu development and daily specials.
  • Work efficiently during peak service periods in a high-volume setting.
About You:
  • Previous experience as a Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a busy restaurant, bistro, or hotel.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support the team.
  • Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Permanent full time role with a starting salary of $85K Salary (plus super).
