About the Company
Core Talent has partnered with a new, up-and-coming renewables developer based in Sydney, NSW. They have recently been acquired by a large overseas investment fund, which has provided the capital and platform for them to begin their ambitious growth plans. The majority of their projects are up to 5MW, and they have a pipeline of around 250MW-300MW. They focus on Solar, standalone BESS, and Hybrid developments.

About the Role
As the Project Development Manager, you will be working closely with the company Director and other members of the management team to put together the company's development strategy. You will help grow this new team in line with the company's ambitious growth plans, enabling them to thrive and succeed in the Australian renewable energy market.
Duties
- Development of Solar and BESS projects
- Manage the engagement of EPC contractors
- Feasibility studies and conceptual design
- Land acquisition
- Negotiate contracts
- Grow the development team
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in project development
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in renewable energy
- Degree-educated in a related field
- Good technical background to understand the engineering behind renewable projects
