As an Assistant Store Manager at Winning Appliances, you’ll work closely with the Showroom Manager, helping to lead, motivate, and create an exceptional shopping experience. This is your chance to make your mark—bring energy, innovation, and leadership to a role where no two days are the same!
- Keep the store running like clockwork by overseeing opening, closing, stock control, and transfers.
- Manage returns, stocktakes, store banking, and backend admin to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain a high standard of store presentation – making the showroom a place customers feel at home.
- Live the mission – “Provide the best shopping experience in the world.”
- Build relationships with customers, including Architects, Designers, and Cabinet Makers, to grow the Winnings brand.
- Resolve escalated customer issues with a solutions-first mindset.
- Oversee key sales admin – customer orders, invoicing, and balance enquiries.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing team.
- Help set sales and margin targets and provide regular performance feedback.
- Prepare staff rosters and ensure efficient workforce planning.
- Coach & lead by example – run engaging stand-up meetings and 1:1 coaching sessions.
- Retail leadership experience – You know how to motivate, coach, and grow a team.
- Operational know-how – Confident in managing store processes, financials, and compliance.
- You thrive on hitting targets and helping your team succeed.
- Passionate about delivering a luxury experience for every shopper.
- Strong Communicator with the ability to train, mentor, and influence at all levels.
- Highly Organised and able to manage multiple priorities and stay ahead of key business needs.
