About the Role:
This is a permanent, full-time (38 hrs per week, Monday to Friday) position and is based at our BEST Community Connections office in Inverell.
As a Participant Coordinator, you will oversee and coordinate the effective delivery of NDIS programs to ensure exceptional participant satisfaction through promoting participant choice, independence and community engagement. You will be responsible for leading a team of support workers while appropriately allocating resources, liaising with relevant stakeholders and tracking service user progress to assure a safe, inclusive environment that advocates for participant needs.
The role also includes on-call responsibilities, which may require after-hours and weekend work at times.
About You:
You will be a dedicated and compassionate leader, with:
- Appropriate knowledge of disability services, NDIS legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Demonstrated experience formulating rosters.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interpret service agreements.
- High level attention to detail.
- Strong leadership capability, including communication, influencing, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Appropriate computer literacy, including use of Microsoft Office Suite and a variety of software programs
- Relevant qualifications in Leadership and Management and Disability Services (or similar) and/or extensive relevant experience.
- Current Class C Driver's Licence
- First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker's Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
