As an Account Director, you will play a lead role on one of the largest accounts in the business, driving profitability, growth and forging strong client relationships. This is a great role for an established Senior Business Manager looking to take the next step.
The day to day...
* Champion strategic thinking, harnessing agency talent to proactively identify opportunities, solve client challenges and deliver impactful results.
* Inspire and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative culture across departments.
* Manage a program of Tech and Data workstreams delivering innovation, efficiency and effectiveness through smart use of Marketing Technologies
* Lead and drive an innovative program that celebrates creativity while leveraging industry leading marketing automation technology (Smartly.io) to enable campaign asset production at scale.
* Daily management of performance marketing activities across EDM, Paid Media and Digital channel activation
* Working directly with clients you'll have ownership of a budget and scope of activity with an action packed Marketing calendar to deliver for a global leader in electronics.
* Ability to persuade, inspire and build trust with agency people and clients.
* Ability to problem solve and think strategically and creatively to do so.
* Ability to be close enough to the detail to be a real support to your team while empowering them to grow.
Who you are
* Strong understanding of forecasting, financial rigor and sophisticated business practices.
* Experience in working within the tech and data arena, with experience in running projects with technology teams, data initiatives, EDM programs and website development
* Familiarity with the roles of leading marketing stack technologies
* A passion for innovation in technology and the application within Marketing capabilities
* Courage to take on projects and drive solutions with a high degree of unknowns
* Ability to manage up and down.
* Enjoys speaking in public and has experience to back it up.
* Is a natural leader who can foster and inspire strong teams.
* Superb creative judgment and the ability to sell work and keep it sold.
