The Gig
An exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to become an integral part of a dynamic and professional project team. With a high value investment supported by local and state governments, you'll play a critical role contributing to major work packages, including a community land development and a state-of-the-art recycling facility.
Based in Kurnell, reporting to the Project Manager, you'll facilitate smooth project execution, managing documentation, addressing challenges, and ensuring compliance. Work on impactful innovations, leaving a lasting legacy for the local community.
You will be trusted with:
- Coordinating various aspects of both the site and parkland development programmes, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
- Managing project documentation, contracts, permits, and plans for accessibility and accuracy
- Assisting in resource planning and allocation, improving efficiency and meeting project deadlines
- Assisting to address potential risks and challenges, and implement mitigation strategies
- Tracking project expenses, purchase orders, adhering to budget constraints, and provide financial updates and reporting where required
- Organising and facilitating regular project meetings, documenting minutes, and tracking action items
- Implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes for project deliverables
- Fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns
- Ensuring project compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and project operational excellence
- 3 + years construction industry experience
- Prior knowledge of document control systems
- Ability to work in a fact paced environment
- Knowledge of Business Central/ JDE or similar management systems
