ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for candidates with an interest in technology and outstanding customer service skills to service our Upper Hunter region. From a base of operations in Muswellbrook, this technician will service all locations within a 70km radius, sometimes a little further.
Although advantageous, no specific prior experience is required - full training will be provided to the right candidate.
As a Field Service Technician you will be responsible for:
- The installation, upgrade, maintenance, and de-installation of EFTPOS/POS terminals, Cash Handling devices, and a range of IT devices and components.
- Providing customer service and on-site training to customers.
- Maintenance of stock and peripherals.
- Regular stocktakes.
- Meeting or exceeding KPI’s and SLA’s.
Full-time positions include a vehicle that can be used for incidental personal use, mobile phone and laptop allowance, and all required tools.
Full-time applicants must be available to work approximately 8 hours per day Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend and public holiday coverage also required.
The preferred applicant for this role will be asked to consent to a current National Police Check.
ABOUT YOU:
- Basic computer/IT skills.
- A passion for technology.
- Self-motivated, highly organised with a focus on customer service.
- Proven experience working autonomously.
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence required.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
