Position Purpose
We are seeking a Head of Account Management to cover a 12-month parental leave position. You will lead the Account Management function within our Acquisition team, overseeing client relationship strategies, ensuring effective account management, nurturing key accounts, and driving the maturation and profitability of our client base.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Director of Strategic Growth to develop and implement sales and account management strategies.Align account management strategies with overall business goals to drive efficient and profitable projects.Execute the account management plan to enhance client acquisition, retention, and growth.Lead and mentor the account management team, fostering a high-performance culture.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.Ensure high client satisfaction through effective communication and tailored solutions.Identify and pursue business growth opportunities, focusing on the technology sector.Continuously assess and enhance account management processes.Establish and track KPIs for account management.Manage account management for Salesforce event sponsorships, sales, and management.Some international and national travel may be required.
Skill Set RequiredStrong leadership skills and ability to handle complex tasks.Strategic, determined, and commercially minded approach.Strong understanding of event operations.Strong relationship management skills.Ability to build productive business relationships.Confidence to make decisions and find solutions.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Genuine attention to detail.
Experience/Qualifications RequiredMinimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role.Minimum 5 years’ experience in account management with key accounts.Experience working within an Events and Marketing Company (agency preferred).Advanced use of Google Docs, Excel, and Word.A degree in Marketing, Events, or Communications is preferable.
