Qualifications & experience

• Must have experience in storeperson role.
• Must have current Drivers and Forklift licence & White Card
• Must be able to drive a manual Vehicle
• Must have a solid understanding of OH&S practices and be capable of adhering to them
• Capable of working on your own
• Must be well organized
• Must be motivated & Task driven
• Have attention to detail, positive attitude, & eager to achieve high standards working as a team.
• Computer literacy preferred, but not essential
• Full medical assessment for construction required prior to employment

Tasks & responsibilities

Essentially you will be working in a team environment, responsible for the ins and outs of warehouse deliveries / stock. You will report directly to management and be required to competently achieve the following:

• Pick and pack materials according to the provided material lists
• Make sure all documentation for both inward and outward supplies is completed and accurate.
• Monitor the in and out of materials and the quality of goods
• Prep needed materials and deliver to job sites
• Manage suppliers and keep an accurate stock inventory
• Order materials on a job to job basis
• Provide assistance and support to site teams as needed
• Work with minimal supervision and ability to work on your own.
• Develop solutions to any problems and take accountability for resolving issues
• Pursue cost saving measures where possible
• Maintain OH&S/Safety in the Workplace practices
• Ensure all tasks are completed within a reasonable time frames.
• Ability to interpret different colours of materials
• Task driven to achieve high standards
