Parks and Gardens Labourer (Cemeteries)

We currently have the opportunity for a Parks and Gardens Labourer (Cemeteries) to join our team to assist with the maintenance of our Council cemeteries as well as parks, gardens and reserves.
You will do this by:
- Using ride-on mowers, hand mowers and brush cutters and other equipment efficiently and safely
- Undertaking general maintenance of parks, gardens and reserves
- Undertaking minor maintenance of plant and equipment
- Undertaking tree planting, pruning, maintenance and removal
- Undertaking the application of herbicides
- Assisting with grave digging duties as required
- Undertaking traffic control to RMS requirements as directed
- Assisting with bush regeneration projects as required
- Work in the field with minimal supervision and in accordance with relevant SWMS.
What we offer...
- Permanent full time role, nine day working fortnight equivalent to working 38 hours per week
- Annual salary from $56,288 to $62,057 (salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
- Progressive salary up to $68,419
- Plus 11.5 % superannuation
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
- A minimum Class C Driver’s Licence
- A WHS Construction Induction White Card
- Labouring experience in maintenance of parks, gardens, and reserves
- General literacy and numeracy skills.
