We take pride in our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. As part of our growing team, we are looking for a skilled Floor Finisher to contribute to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare flooring surfaces by sanding, leveling, and removing imperfections.
- Install and finish a variety of flooring materials, including timber, hybrid, vinyl and laminate.
- Apply stains, sealants, coatings, and polishing techniques to enhance durability and aesthetics.
- Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials with precision.
- Finish flooring surfaces on different types of stairs, ensuring a seamless and high-quality result.
- Repair and replace damaged flooring materials as required.
- Ensure work meets safety and quality standards, following industry best practices.
- Operate and maintain flooring tools and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Flooring Technology or Certificate III in Carpentry OR currently studying Certificate III in Flooring Technology or Certificate III in Carpentry. Strong understanding of different flooring materials and finishing techniques.
- Experience with power tools, sanding machines, and application of protective coatings.
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans and technical specifications.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transport are preferred.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
