Sydney Observatory
The Visitor Experience Manager at Sydney Observatory plays a crucial role in the Powerhouse renewal, delivering community, industry, and cultural programs, including public programs, tours, and commercial events, alongside overseeing site operations. The role leads the Visitor Experience team at Sydney Observatory and collaborates across the Museum to deliver the program and venue management, including operational processes and procedures, focusing on continuous improvement.
The role develops visitor experiences and services that complement the Sydney Observatory program and are aligned with the Powerhouse collection. It builds team capability and champions accessibility and inclusion, enabling high-quality visitor experiences and playing a key leadership role in site safety and management. The role is required to work occasional evenings and weekends to support the operational delivery of the Sydney Observatory program.
