Although GuardWare's Office is in Sydney, the right candidate can be located anywhere in Australia!

As they continue to scale, we are looking for a passionate and experienced director to help GuardWare navigate industry verticals to maximise growth and make key decisions to ensure long-term success.

What GuardWare is Looking For:

• Experience : Significant IT or Cyber Security related experience in any of Legal or Medical or Finance or Education industries. GuardWare is across all verticals - and we seek a director who can leverage active industry relationships to drive revenue towards one or more of these target industry verticals.
• Strategic Growth : Proven experience in scaling businesses, expanding market reach, and advising on corporate strategy.
• Fundraising & Investor Relations : Experience working with investors, securing funding, and fostering partnerships.
• Leadership & Governance : A deep understanding of board dynamics, corporate governance, and risk management. A GAICD qualification (or equivalent) will be highly regarded
• Industry Expertise : A strong network in any or some of the verticals: Legal, Medical, Finance or Education is a plus, as well as a keen interest in shaping the future of the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic guidance and insight to support the growth and scaling of the business.
• Contribute to high-level decision-making, focusing on long-term success.
• Advise on fundraising, partnerships, and market expansion in your assigned Target Verticals.
• Ensure sound governance practices and help mitigate business risks.
• Act as a mentor to the leadership team where needed, offering support and insight based on your experience.
