About the Opportunity?As a key business partner within the team, you will provide financial performance analysis, and you will identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and managing risks. Additionally, you will collaborate with other finance functions to meet the business’s reporting and forecasting requirements.
Key Responsibilities Include
(but are not limited to)
- Oversee and analyze the P&L and balance sheet for a manufacturing plant, ensuring accurate financial reporting and performance insights.
- Provide detailed cost analysis, including standard costs, material costs, and production volume, to support decision-making.
- Partner directly with operations and manufacturing teams to understand labor costs, production efficiency, and cost drivers.
- Work closely with manufacturers to assess product costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve financial performance.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to drive profitability and operational improvements.
- Act as a key finance business partner for the plant, translating financial data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Ensure strong financial governance and compliance within manufacturing operations.
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant / Site Accountant position from a Manufacturing background.
- Business or Accounting/Finance Degree (CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA qualification preferred).
- 3-6 years’ experience in Finance.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience in SAP is desirable
