Role Summary

This full-time position is for a junior/intermediate auditor within the assurance division. As an auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits, performing financial analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preparing audit reports. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Primarily based in the Greater Sydney Area, there is flexibility for some remote work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborating closely with partners across a diverse client base
  • Managing the full cycle of audit planning, execution, and assignments, including supervising and guiding junior staff
  • Conducting risk assessments, testing, reporting, and control evaluations, as well as developing test plans and reports
  • Overseeing audit fieldwork
  • Preparing audit work papers and ensuring audits are completed within time and budget constraints
  • Mentoring junior team members and assisting with special assignments and reports in collaboration with directors and partners
About You
  • Minimum of 2 years of audit experience in an accounting firm
  • Accounting degree with plans to commence or currently enrolled in the CA program
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships and the ability to work autonomously
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with CaseWare, Accurri, or similar audit software
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and Australian Standards of Auditing
  • No sponsorship is provided. Must have valid working rights.
