About the Role:
As the Building/Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of properties. Your role will involve overseeing daily building operations, maintaining compliance with regulations, managing financial performance, and ensuring exceptional tenant and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Building Operations & Compliance – Ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all relevant regulations. Oversee repairs, inspections, and contractor performance.
- Financial & Budget Management – Prepare and track the annual operational budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Tenant, Owner & Stakeholder Relations – Act as the main point of contact for tenants, owners, and the body corporate. Manage leasing, resolve tenant concerns, and uphold lease agreements.
- Team Leadership & Performance – Supervise and coordinate on-site staff and contractors to ensure high service standards.
- Leasing & Marketing – Oversee leasing activities, conduct property viewings, and collaborate with marketing teams to attract high-quality tenants.
- Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration (Property Manager) – Required for managing rental properties.
- Minimum of four years' experience in property, building, or facilities management, preferably within residential or strata-titled developments.
- Strong understanding of caretaking agreements, body corporate operations, and leasing regulations in Queensland .
- Proven experience in budget management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership .
- Competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 + Superannuation
