About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Athletic Development Coach to join our team. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging group training sessions for young athletes, helping them develop their athletic abilities and achieve their goals.
This role will be based across three locations on the Sunshine Coast, including school campuses and private facilities. Riggy is a young and ambitious company with exciting growth plans, so this is a fantastic opportunity to join us early and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver group athletic development sessions for young athletes.
- Provide coaching that focuses on building strength, speed, agility, power, and skills.
- Work with athletes before and after school hours (ideal for university students).
- Ensure a positive, supportive, and safe environment for all participants.
- Monitor athlete progress and adjust training programs as needed.
- Collaborate with other coaches to improve program offerings and athlete development.
Qualifications:
- ASCA Level 1 (or willingness to obtain)
- Certificate III and IV in Fitness
- Bluecard
- Current first aid certification is a plus
- Experience or interest in coaching youth athletes
- Currently studying Exercise Physiology, Sports Science, or a related field (ideal for a university student)
