Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrate experience and willingness to work across the lifespan.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable car for travel between client locations.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centred care.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' daily function in their home environments.
- Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve clients' daily function.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentations.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in Occupational Therapy.
- Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities.
- Demonstrate knowledge and practical ability in navigating different funding models such as NDIS, My Aged Care, Workcover, Medicare, DVA, and Private Insurance.
- Deliver and engage in business and service development opportunities to improve the Physiotherapy service.
