Position Available: Project Manager

About the Role:

We are excited to announce the creation of a new position within our building division in Queensland: Project Manager. This role will be instrumental in managing and delivering multiple projects valued up to $5M each in Brisbane and the surrounding areas. This hybrid role will require time at our Brisbane office in Eagle Farm, QLD, as well as on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the development, review, and management of projects, ensuring adherence to OH&S, Quality & Environmental standards, cost control, and client/consultant relationship management.
• Providing proactive leadership and management of on-site safety performance, standards, and risk.
• Ensuring day-to-day quality management and developing quality procedures per project specifications and Australian Standards.
• Offering technical advice and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Establishing and maintaining programme and project cost control, with an emphasis on labor utilization and efficiency.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, managing daily interactions.
• Preparing accurate monthly reports, progress claims, and subcontractor statements.
• Procuring and managing subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Administering contracts and managing commercial risk in accordance with the DOA.

Preferred Experience:

• Proven experience in façade, waterproofing, steel works or concrete corrosion repair works.
• Experience with remediation works (Concrete & steel Repairs / Strengthening).
• Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications / Experience:

• A degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• A minimum of 5 years’ project management in the civil or construction industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
