The Role
This role will be responsible for supporting families to enhance their independence, safety, self-esteem, wellbeing and quality of life. You will have a passion for delivering high quality case management to prevent the cycle of homelessness.
Main tasks will include (but are not limited to):
- Respond to and prioritise cases that are presented
- Prepare progress care and support plans for tenants and clients
- Assist tenants with information, advocacy and referrals; including home visits
- Advocate on behalf of clients
- Maintain accurate applicant interview and allocation records
About You
To be successful for this role, you will have:
- Experience in case management and/or provision of support services
- Qualifications and/or experience in a human services framework for people presenting as homeless
- Knowledge and understanding of the community and public housing sectors and services available to assist clients
- Current Driver’s Licence
Please note that a satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
