Come join 5TECH, an industry leading company with over a decades experience on the NBN and other telecommunication related projects.
We are based on the North West coast of Tasmania, with most of our work currently being in and around the Burnie to Devonport area. However, we have, and will continue to have work further afield, which can involve some travel.
We are expanding, and have a range of roles to fill across a range of different projects, including N2P, ODM and Unify, as well as across several other interesting projects, including sub-divisions.

- High pressure flushing and dig down blockage repairs
- Pit and Pipe
- Asbestos Removals
- Lead-in's & Connections

- Grundomat
- Concreting/Ashphelting
- Excavator
- Vac Truck
We are also looking for experienced folk to fill roles in the following areas:
- Administration
- Ideally you would have a back-end experience within the telecommunications industry, however we would be willing the train a proven super star who has an exceptional eye to detail and who is looking for a chance to shine within a new industry.
- Those with experience in finance/payroll/taxation are highly encouraged to apply.
- Mechanical
- With multiple cars, 4wd's, trucks, trailers, and construction tools and machinery, we are looking for someone to be our maintenance, servicing and repair guru.
- There isn't enough work for this to be a full time position, so it could suit someone looking for part time work, or someone who doesn't mind jumping on the tools with the rest of guys when there's no workshop work.
- Field Manager, Scoping, and Quality Assurance
- As we continue to expand and move into multiple projects for multiple clients, there's opened up a position for a dedicated Field Manager.
- Tasks and duties could include scoping, quality assurance, training and mentoring, liaising with client field managers, ensuring key benchmarks and targets are met, problem solving, and much more.
