Description:
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports
- Assist in budget planning and forecasting
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile financial discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline financial operations
- Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations
- Provide financial advice to support decision making
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department
Requirements:
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related field
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
