Continuing | Full-Time Academic Level B | $110,127 - $130,325 p.a. Location: Bedford Park / Kaurna Country View Position DescriptionAbout the Role
The Lecturer, Teaching Specialist (Academic), will be responsible for coordinating and conducting teaching utilising approaches that enhance the student experience and will contribute to the excellence of teaching, across Business Analytics topics in the College of Business, Government and Law. The incumbent will contribute to the planning, creation, delivery, evaluation and continuous quality improvement of university-level education and undertake the role of topic coordinator when required.
This role is also responsible for:
An independent contribution to the review, renewal, development and design of curricula and courses that are attractive to existing and new cohorts of students and that nurture creativity and critical-thinking skills. Provide support, academic counselling and professional advice to students concerning their studies, professional development and career opportunities. About You
Having completed a PhD or EdD, or equivalent qualification in business analytics or a related field, you have significant and excellent teaching and learning experience at a tertiary level in business analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and/or cybersecurity management.
Your exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, enable you to engage with students via online learning platforms and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students and industry.
Evidence of successful and independent innovation in learning and teaching delivery or design, including use of e-learning technologies particularly in business analytics, and AI applications Advanced programming skills (ideally in Python) and experience handling large datasets. Ability to develop new topics in business analytics, cybersecurity management, and data warehousing, and AI Business Strategy.Life at Flinders
