Our client is seeking a skilled and professional HVAC&R Technician to join their Townsville based team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, upgrading, commissioning, servicing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC&R systems, including Air Handling Units, Ducted Splits, Fans, Chillers, CRAC Units, and Refrigeration systems.
You will utilise Simpro to track and record all work and maintenance activities efficiently. As a key representative of the business, you will liaise with clients to provide exceptional service and solutions while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and industry best practices. Additionally, you will manage your daily schedule to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting installations, upgrades, commissioning, service and maintenance of HVAC&R systems such as Air Handling Units, Ducted Splits, Fans, Chillers, CRAC Units, and Refrigeration systems.
- Utilising Simpro for recording and tracking of all work and maintenance activities.
- Liaising with key clients to provide first class services and solutions by being the face of the business and delivering the highest level of quality.
- Adhering to safety, quality, and industry best practices.
- Managing your daily schedule and run efficiently.
Your Profile
To be considered for this role you with have/ be:
- Trade certificate or qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or HVAC or a 4th Year Apprentice.
- Ideally experience in most of the following - Installation, upgrades, commissioning, service and maintenance of commercial or industrial HVAC&R systems.
- Experience working to best practices and Australian standards.
- Familiarity with BMS systems.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence.
- Current Refrigeration Handling (ARCtick) Licence or willingness to obtain.
- Restricted Electrical Licence or a willingness to obtain.
- QBCC Workers Licence.
- Ability to gain Security Clearances and Blue Card.
What's on offer?
- Hourly rate of $45 - $47 per hour, 38 hour work week plus a minimum of 2 hours overtime a week with options for RDO's either fortnightly, monthly or 2 monthly.

- Extra overtime available paid at penalties.
- Oncall component every 6 weeks - weekly allowance and call outs paid a penalties
